Gelli Aur Care Ltd

Gelli Aur is a purposely modified residential home, committed to providing specialist care for six guests with learning disabilities and co-existing mental health issues. It is registered by the CIW for adults between 18-64 years.

The beautiful, spacious barn conversion has been finished to an extremely high standard and retains its character features. It is situated within 25 acres of its own private grounds and has spectacular views across the Carmarthenshire countryside. The accommodation provides well furnished sitting room, dining area, quiet area, and also a separate TV/movie/gaming area, all of which have a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

There are a wealth of activities to choose from. The home is just 5 minutes from St. Clears, near the village of Meidrim. Carmarthen is 8 miles away and the Pembrokeshire border is only 5 miles away. Some of the UK's best beaches are within a 30 minute drive.

This fund has been developed is response to the challenges faced by care homes across the region in enabling face-to-face and virtual meetings between residents and their family and friends and making us of digital technology to connect to community activities and events/performances.
